THE RACE
Pick up times: From 5:30am on 24th June 2023
Pick up location: At Check In desk on Mill Green

PACK PICKUP
Start Line
Gather at Mill Green for race briefing and to set up you bike station in the bike rack.
However, the official start line is on the water's edge in Ferry Lane, Wargrave.
There will be a staggered start to prevent any accidents heading into the water.
Medical
Marshals will line the route and will be trained to handle any accidents.
Key medical professionals will be on hand to assist with any serious injuries.

Hydration
Water stations will be available in Mill Green in between each of the 3 legs of the race so any time you return, make sure to stay hydrated!

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The SWIM
Starting in Ferry Lane, Wargrave, the race begins with a splash!
A 750m swim in the Thames River, swimming up stream toward 'the bridge', past the Bushnell's Marina, around a giant buoy and back downstream to the jetty at Ferry Lane.
Marshals on kayaks will be there to guide or support you as needed during the swim.
The CYCLE
Your bike will be waiting for you on the bike racks in Mill Green.
The cycle route a a scenic 20k heading out of Wargrave toward Bath Road (A4), left at the roundabout with a nice steady incline towards Burchett's Green. Over the speedbumps and left at the roundabout onto Henley Road. Through Hurley Bottom, left onto Culham Lane and then down Kenton’s Lane onto Wargrave Road, all the way back to Mill Green.
The RUN
The run consists of a lovely 1.25km loop - drop your bike and head down Station Road. Marshals will guide you to a little trail mid way down the road leading to the Wargrave boat club and back up to village green again... repeat x4!
By this point you'll have many local supporters cheering you on as you push to the finish line... where a glass of champagne will be waiting for you!
